Research on UbD Backward Instructional Design for Junior HighSchool Physics Based on the Alignment of Teaching, Learningand Assessment:A Case Study of "Interdisciplinary Practice:Making a Soundproof Room Model"

Abstract:The UbD (Understanding by Design) backward instructional design, based on the alignment of teaching, learning, and assessment, represents an innovative instructional concept. Guided by clear learning objectives,both assessment and instructional activities are aligned with the objectives, thereby transforming the conventionalforward-thinking model and enhancing the fexibility and effectiveness of instructional design. Through a specific lessondesign, the research discusses the design principles and strategies of UbD backward instruction to provide practical referehens for frontline teachers.
