An Analysis of the Necessity and Strategies for Secondary School Students' s Life Value Educationin the Context of Risk Society

Abstract: Middle school is a critical stage for life value development, a strategic priority in China's education.Given the pervasive risks in today's society, life value education serves as an effective response. Drawing on valueidentification theory, the rescarch proposes a four-stage pathway-subjective awakening. process immersion,practical transformation, and collaborative support-that guides students to reflect on their relationships with nature,others and themselves. This approach embeds the meaning of life into students' minds, unlocking their potential,nurturing character, and ultimately enabling them to realize their own life values.
