Analysis of 2025 Gaokao Conic SectionsQuestions andTeaching Strategies

Abstract: The 2025 Gaokao conic section problems are distinguished by their explicit assessment of conceptualknowledge, focused examination of foundational conic section concepts, and emphasis on the interconnectedness andsynthesis of related mathematical knowledge. Accordingly, the rescarch proposes corresponding teaching suggestions:strengthen instruction on basie concepts such as the definitions and geometric properties of conic sections, retum to textbooksand lay stress on fundamentals and general methods; adopt a problem-driven approach to concept review; and intensifyrescarch on classical textbook exercises. It is hoped that these suggestions will serve as practical references for classroom teaching.
