[Abstraet] Under the background of deepening population aging and the booming silver economy, the el-derly are increasingly becoming the principal subjects of vocational education and lifelong learning. Focusing onthe transformation from "survival-hased aging" to "development-based enjoyable aging." this paper takes thedevelopment of elderly care majors in Fujian Province as an example to explore how vocational education em-powers the siver generation. It finds that Fujian Province provides significant support for the silver generationto acquire professional literacy and skills by constructing a multi-level elderly care professional system, devel-oping age-friendly digital curriculum resourees, and innovating industry-education integration models. Specifical-Iy, 13 universities and 57 vocational colleges have established elderly care-related majors with 59,000 enrolledstudents; over 1,100 continuing education digital courses have been developed and shared freely via the FujianLifelong Education Public Service Platform, accumulating over 46 million visits; and 5 provincial-level elderlycare industry colleges have been built to facilitate resource sharing and talent cultivation. Based on these find-ings, this study proposes a four-in-one development model-taking vocational education as the engine, thecommunity as the carrier, digitalization as the tool, and policy as the guarantee-to provide theoretical supportand practical solutions for the silver generation to achieve high-quality "enjoyable aging" through lifelonglearning.
