Comparison of Zhu Xi and Wang Fuzhi on Image Mathematics

Abstract: Zhu Xi's and Wang Fuzhi's symbolic yi-ology are developed along different academic paths, which are"different ways", but both of them have the characteristics of Confucian philosophy, which are "same direction" Thispaper argues that to compare Zhu Xi's symbolic mathematics with Wang Fuzhi's symbolic mathematics, it is essentialto conduct an in-depth study of the relevant historical materials pertaining to both systems.On this basis, startingfrom historical rationality, this paper gives correct positioning to Zhu Xi's symbolic mathematics and Wang Fuzhi'ssymbolic mathematics, and then conducts in-depth comparative study on Zhu Xi's symbolic mathematics and WangFuzhi's symbolic mathematics.
