[Abstract]Against the national strategic backdrop of "promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture," domestic animated films have become an important vehicle for inheriting and revitalizing excellent traditional Chinese culture. Taking films such as Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child, White Snake: Origins, and Chang'an: 30,000 Miles as examples, this paper explores the paths of their practice and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese culture. By reconstructing traditional mythological spaces, refining elements of intangible cultural heritage for transmission, translating Chinese philosophical thought into visual imagery, and innovatively expressing visual aesthetics, these three films have achieved the contemporary transformation of excellent traditional Chinese culture from symbols to connotations. These creative practices not only infuse deep cultural heritage into domestic animation but also provide a valuable reference for deepening the concept of "Two Creations" within the field of film and television.
