Abstract:Against the backdrop of innovation-driven development, stimulating employees' innovativebehavior has become a critical issue in organizational management. Grounded in social exchangetheory, this study incorporates psychological safety as a mediating mechanism and constructs atheoretical model elucidating the effect of transformational leadership on employee innovativebehavior. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys from a sample of 304 enterpriseemployees. Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted using SPSS and AMOS, and the mediatingeffect was empirically examined via the Bootstrap method. The results indicate that: (1)transformational leadership exerts a significant positive effect on employee innovative behavior(B=0.755, p<0.001); and (2) psychological safety plays a partial mediating role in this relationship.accounting for 17.75% of the total effect. This study uncovers the underlying psychologicalmechanism through which transformational leadership influences employee innovative behavior,thereby providing empirical evidence for optimizing managerial practices and fostering employee innovation in organizations.
