Cultural Identity and Confidence from the Perspective of Chinese Ceramic Aesthetics
Abstract:Inheriting and innovating traditional Chinese culture is an important vital for Chinese modernization with its own specific traits. As a classic sample of the traditional Chinese culture, ceramic aesthetics is not only necessary for our awareness of cultural identity, but also important for the building of Chinese cultural confidence. It serves as a window demonstrating the image of Chinese culture and art as well. This paper explains the aesthetic significance of Chinese ceramics rooted in the fertile soil of traditional culture by probing into the essence of the ceramic aesthetics, cultural identity and cultural confidence.
