The Evolution, Artistic Features and Experiential Enlightenment of the "Classic Works" in Chinese Television Art

Abstract:Throughout the 65-year creative process, Chinese television art has developed a consistent pattern and distinctive path with notable Chinese characteristics, exemplified by numerous influential“ClassicWorks". TV series have successfully transitioned from literary adaptations to economically-driven script writing, evolving from standalone stories to continuous narratives while maintaining a focus on major themes and realism. originating from the prototype of art columns, variety shows have progressed from importing foreign program format to exporting domestic ones, preserving their functions of societal services, education,entertainment and culture. Gala festival has evolved from a mere TV show into a fusion of culture and politics, drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese festivals, important national anniversaries, and significant events. In summary, the fundamental experiences of Chinese TV arts include adhering to the value orientation of being “Chinese”and for Chinese people, embracing popular and contemporary creative methods, establishing a communication matrix for audiences both domestically and internationally, and creating a pioneering industrial pattern.
