Analysis of the Adaptability of Demand in Shenzhen's Higher EducationIndustry under Dynamic Population Changes

Abstract: To analyze the impact of population dynamic changes on the demand of the highereducation industry in Shenzhen and explore its adaptive strategies, this study, by sortingout population growth data, structural characteristics and their role in educational demand,combined with the current supply and demand situation and supply-demand contradictionanalysis of higher education in Shenzhen, demonstrates the challenges faced by the industryunder population dynamic changes. Research shows that changes in the structure of the school-age population have led to an increase or decrease in educational demands at different levels.However,higher education has deficiencies in supply capacity and professional Settings, and theproblem of mismatch between supply and demand is prominent, To this end, adaptive strategiessuch as policy adjustment, integration of educational resources and innovation of educationalmodels are proposed.
