A Brief Analysis of the Role and Function of Hosts in Live TV Art Galas

Abstract: This paper focuses on the role and function of the hosts of live T'V art galas, deeplyexplores the development process and characteristics of TV art galas in China, analyzesthe multiple role positioning of hosts in live art galas, as well as the close relationshipbetween their functional classification and professional qualities. Through case analysis andinterdisciplinary theoretical analysis, the research found that the host, in the on-site narrativecenter, achieves cross-screen interaction through improvisational regulation and mulimodaldiscourse, and builds an immersive viewing experience. Serve as a cultural translator, usingsymbolic expression to transform artistic content into aesthetic language for the general public.In the new media environment, hosts need to possess media literacy, cultural background anddigital communication skills. At the same time, in response to the new challenges of the digitalintelligence era, thoughts on the development of hosts for live-streaming cultural and artisticgalas are proposed, aiming to provide valuable references for theoretical research and practicaldevelopment in this field.
