Abstract: Basic public education services in China, as a crucial component of the social public security system, are gradually demonstrating their unique charm and potential while simultaneously confronting unprecedented challenges and opportunities.Characterized by practical engagement and experiential learning, inclusiveness and equity, diversity and tolerance, as well as innovation and developmental orientation, these features collectively draw the outline of China's basic public education services. However, in pursuing higher-quality public education, we must address practical issues such as infrastructure lag, teacher shortages, rigid implementation mechanisms and insufficient social practice resources. To overcome these challenges, it is imperative to actively explore effective approaches focusing on policy guidance, infrastructure enhancement, teaching workforce optimization, implementation mechanism reform and expansion of practical resources, thereby continuously improving the overall quality of basic public education services.Building upon this analysis, the research will conduct an in-depth examination of the developmental pathways for China's basic public education services from the perspective of life-practice education, aiming to offer valuable references and insights for the sustainable development of China's educational endeavors.
